Leadership Coaching

In 21st century organisations we look to our leaders to provide strategic clarity, instigate growth, lead change and engagement, mentor employees and promote diversity as well as inclusion. Not only are the demands high, but the conventional ‘top-down’ style of management has become less effective over the years. The traditional management model is struggling to match the requirements of the workforce. In addition, the digital age is constantly evolving with the millennial influence prominent! People don’t want to be told what to do; they want to be consulted, included and fully engaged in the process of their expected contribution. They want to be recognised for their work whilst believing in people who hold leadership positions.

For our leaders of today to embrace this, they need to do far more than issue instructions. They are expected to be passionate about what they do, to inspire others and still deliver on the demands. It can be challenging for leaders as it demands a far more authentic leadership style with a high level of transparent self-awareness. Authentic leaders demonstrate not only courage but considerable openness and honesty in their approach. They need to be open about sharing their feelings and motives, and they need to communicate well.

I believe authentic leadership is a skill to be learned and acquired, like any other skill. So, if this applies to you, I’m here to tell you it can be developed with ease over time. My coaching process teaches you to get to know yourself. It leads to an understanding of how to deal, not only with your emotions and thoughts, but also with your victories and failures.
